‎14. Antwerpen, Onze Kunst, original engraving 196 x 148 mm, published in the 'the luxe copies' of the Belgian art periodical '' Onze Kunst '', volume XLVII, issue 3, March 1929. Signed in the plate. With the original protective glass paper with the printed caption. Probably pinted in 50 copies on Vergé paper (see Kornfeld Number 78). On offer here is the complete issue, in mint condition, of the Dutch edition of this periodical. The etching illustrates an article by Paul Fierens on Chagall. There exists also a French edition. (Called '' Revue de l'Art''). Very rare original etching by Chagall presented here, as published, in a '' de luxe '' issue of this Belgian art periodical. The publisher tried in vain with this very expensive limited run of de luxe copies, which received inserts of original graphics, to keep afloat his art periodical. The publication which started in 1902 failed nevertheless a few months after the introduction of this ''de luxe '' copies.‎
