‎Seconde édition de cette biographie de Catherine Ière, épouse de Pierre le Grand, impératrice de Russie de 1725 à 1727. La première édition avait été publiée à La Haye en 1728. Rousset de Missy, publiciste protestant d'origine française réfugié aux Pays-Bas avait publié auparavant la biographie de Pierre le Grand. Peu commun. Haag IX, 57; Quérard VIII, 243.‎

Gilt frames to boards and blind-tooled ornamentation to edges of boards. Light wear to extremities with minor loss of leather to boards. Title-page in red and black. Small worm-tract to lower inner margin, far from affecting text. A fine and clean copy. (6), 613, (5) pp. + 3 folded table, wanting the frontispiece. ‎
