Large central laurel medallion with in the centre a 7 starred crown above the initials M.A. ( Holy Mary), underneath the initials a gilt heart, all edges gilt. Richly decorated spine. The book still contains the original silk book mark. Two corners very slightly bumped, some very minor traces of use but still a very good copy of an impressive book in a very handsome French full morocco binding. ‎Missale Romanum ex decreto Sacrosancti Concilii Tridentini restitutum, Pii V iussu editum, Clementis VIII et Urbani VIII auctoritate recognitum‎

‎Lugduni [Lyon], Ex Typographia Petri Valfray, 1696. In-folio (env. 38 x 26 cm).
