1862 Two volumes (complete). lxiii, 564, vii, 663, [1] p., numerous figs figs, many (ca. 100) engraved plates (many hand-coloured), dark green contemporary half calf, spine richly gilt with red label and marbled boards (boards somewhat rubbed), marbled end-papers and edges. Title-pages with hand-coloured engravings. Of this title there are many cheap and low quality reprints and printing on demand offered for sale but this is the real thing. Some slight rubbing on extremities and some foxing in first few pages, but a very tight beautiful bound set full of hand-coloured engraved plates.
