In 24. Dim. 11,5x6x3 cm. Pp. 480. Rara edizione del 1692 di questa opera destinata al clero scritto da Giuseppe Agostini (1573-1643) nato e morto a Palermo. Agostini insegnò teologia a Lione, Avignone e Palermo. L'opera è una sorta di manuale destinato a coloro che per la prima volta devono confessare i fedeli. Nella prima parte alcune notizie destinate ai seminaristi. Tra gli argomenti trattati: sacramenti, bolla crociata, indulgenze, ordini, matrimonio, precetti della Chiesa, duelli, giochi, censura, irregolarità, coscienza ecc... All'interno un piccolo albero genealogico. Bella legatura in piena pergamena coeva. Titolo manoscritto al taglio inferiore. Prima carta bianca mancante. Opera collazionata e risultata completa. In buone condizioni. Copertina in piena pergamena coeva in buone condizioni generali con lievi usure ai margini e dorso. Legatura in buone condizioni ma rotture alle pagine di sguardia. All'interno le pagine si presentano in buone condizioni con rare fioriture. Strappo al margine inferiore di pag. 349 con perdita di qualche prozione di lettera. Prima carta bianca mancante. Scarce edition of 1692 of thsi work destinated to clergy written by Giuseppe Agostini (1573-1643) born and dead in Palermo. Agostini taught theology in Lione, Avignone and Palermo. The work si a sort of manuale destinated to confessors . In the first part some notions destinated to students. Among the issues treated: sacraments, crossed bulla, indulgences, orders, marriage, precepts of Church, duels, games, censorship, irregularities, conscience etc... A little genealogical tree inside. Beautiful full parchment coeval cover. Manuscripted title in the lower external edge of pages. Collationed complete work. First white paper is missing. In good conditions. Full parchment coeval cover in good general conditions slightly worn in the edges and spine. Binding in good conditions with a crack in the endpapers. Inside pages are in good conditions with occasional foxings. Tear in the lower edge of pag. 349 with loss of some portion of letter. First white paper is missing.
