‎Très bel envoi de l'auteur à l'écrivain bordelais Michel Suffran. On joint 2 lettres autographes signées de l'auteur à Michel Suffran. Très intéressant document consacré au poète Gaston Galard de Béarn (1907-1978) et à son épouse Myriam Parera. Leur trilogie sur Gaston Phoebus fit l'objet d'une adaptation télévisée en 1978. Le récit du tremblement de terre de Yokohama (le grand tremblement de terre du Kanto) en 1923, auquel il survécut par miracle, est très impressionnant, et l'on peut bien dire assez hallucinant (avec crevasse qui engouffre les victimes et attaque de bandits coréens) ! Le père de Gaston de Béarn, le Prince de Béarn, était alors Conseiller au service de l'Ambassadeur de France au Japon qui n'était autre que Paul Claudel ! Very interesting document dedicated to the poet Gaston Galard de Béarn (1907-1978) and his wife Myriam Parera. Their trilogy on Gaston Phoebus was the subject of a televised adaptation in 1978. The story of the Yokohama earthquake (the Great Kanto Earthquake) in 1923, which he miraculously survived, is very impressive, and one can say that it is quite amazing (with a rift that engulfs the victims and attacks by korean bandits) !
