The first volume devoted to this remarkable treasure contains an introduction, two sections on technical examination and conservation, and the inscriptions, weights and dimensions, followed by the descriptive catalogue. The catalogue itself is divided into 15 parts - each silver object (plate, amphora, ewer, basin, or casket) is examined, as well as the copper cauldron in which the treasure was discovered. Included is a copy of the New York Supreme Court's order and judgement in the case (entered 18 November 1993).
