Ce livre reprend les motifs provenant des planches d’un ouvrage de bijouterie publié en Allemagne vers la fin du 19ème siècle. The jewellery and gold work produced by German goldsmiths around the turn of the century, especially in the famous workshops in the Pforzheim area, not only represented a new style, but took account of a new taste : a kind of costume jewellery had come into vogue which made purely external use of new, geometric-abstract forms and thereby clearly reflected the trend towards the Art Deco style.
