Deux ouvrages réunis en un volume grand in-8 (246 x 176 mm), maroquin noisette, dos à quatre nerfs et plats ornés à froid, tête dorée, non rogné, couverture et dos conservés (reliure signée René Kieffer). Illustrations de Georges Bellenger et Marcel Pille, gravées par E. Froment. Tirage à 350 exemplaires numérotés ; chaque ouvrage est un des 100 sur vélin du Marais, comportant une suite sur Chine (N° 141 et N° 58). Texte grec en regard de la traduction d'André Bellessort. "L'Oaristys" est précédée d'une "Lettre de Sicile" par Anatole France, et "Les Syracusaines" d'un avant-propos du traducteur. (minimes frottements aux coins, piqûres). // 1896 and 1900. Two books bound in one octavo volume (246 x 176 mm), hazelnut-colour morocco, spine raised on four bands and covers tooled in blind, top edge gilt, uncut, soft cover and spine preserved (binding signed René Kieffer). Illustrations by Georges Bellenger and Marcel Pille, engraved by E. Froment. Limited printing of 350 numbered copies ; each vol. being one of the 100 copies on "vélin du Marais", containing a suite on China paper (Nr 141 and Nr 58). Greek text facing the translation by André Bellessort. "L'Oaristys" begins with "Lettre de Sicile" by Anatole France, and "Les Syracusaines" with a preface by the translator. (minor rubbings on corners, spots). ‎
