Name auf dem Vorsatz. Durchgehend, stellenweise auch stark gebräunt. - Fourth print in the year of the first edition, here for the first time with a different publisher's address. The pre-title with "Price Three Shillings" and with deviations in the catalogue. At the end without the errata sheet, but with 4 pages catalog. - Whether the fictitious correspondence is an independent literary work, or rather an English colo-portage of the "Lettres persanes" is debatable. - Throughout, in parts also strongly browned. Name on the flyleaf. Upper capital with small imperfection.
