Paris, chez Maurice Schlesinger, in-4°, engraved title + 15 pp of engraved music. PN. M.S. 1070. S. d. ( 1835 ) . Sewn, without a wrapper, (removed from a binding). With the rubber stamp of '' Brandus et Cie.'' ( successors to M. Schlesinger). Modern manuscript name in ink in upper left corner of title page . Some slight marginal discolouring of the paper, due to paper quality, but a fine/good copy. Kept in a modern brown cloth portfolio within a sleeve of transparent acidfree plastic, leather title label on front cover. Very first edition of Chopin's opus 24. Composed in 1833 ( Brown 89 , Chominski & Turlow 64, Grabowski-Rink 24-1-Sm , pp 156 ). Published by M. Schlesinger in 1835. With the Brandus stamp in use from 1846 onwards.

With a small clear waterstain on the title, some slight usual staining, but still a fine/good copy. Second edition of Chopin's opus 24. Composed in 1833 ( Brown 89 , Chominski & Turlow 64 ).
