London Menry Mortlock 1662 Deuxième édition. Très bel exemplaire de ces ouvrages théologiques. Reliés en un seul volume. Le premier est une tentative de compromis entre l'Eglise établie et le protestantisme, avec un appendice sur l'excommunication. Le second livre est une première édition datée de 1663 avec un titre en rouge et noir. Plaques de cuir brun foncé de l'époque. Le dos a été renouvelé avec l'étiquette d'origine en cuir noir et les titres dorés. Les coins de la reliure sont un peu abîmés, mais l'ouvrage est par ailleurs solide. Les pages sont un peu noircies, mais dans l'ensemble elles sont en très bon état. [xxii], 1-416, 1-32, [xxxvi], 1-620 pages. Wing : S5597C ESTC : R218812. 19.5cm x 15cm.
Second edition. A very nice copy of these theological works. Bound together in one volume. The first is an attempt at a compromise between the established Church and Protestantism, with an appendix on Excommunication. The second book is a first edition dated 1663 with red and black title. Contemporary dark brown leather boards. A renewed spine with the original black leather label and gilt titles laid down. A little bumping to the corners of the binding, but otherwise sound.
