Raccolta di dieci foto copie di fotografie realizzate nel 1936 circa nella Etiopia italiana. Queste fotografie sono riproduzioni delle originali e sono state realizzate verso gli anni '70, '80. Riproducono paesaggi e momenti storici: Il Lago Ascianghi a sud di Amba Alagi; Assistenza agli indigeni del Tigrai; Addis Abeba giorno di mercato; Bimbi indigeni curati dalla C.R.I.; Accampamento nemico sorpreso e bombardato; Addis Abeba scene di un mercato indigeno; Le strette gole tra Socotà e Dessiè; Il Lago Tana; Addis Abeba panorama. Dim. cm 13x18. In buone condizioni. Il governo fascista instituì nel settembre 1935 il "Reparto foto-cinematografico per Africa Orientale" con il compito di raccogliere materiale fotografico e cinematografico sull'Africa Orientale durante il periodo 1935-38. Ogni foto riportava indicazione dattiloscritte con indice della serie, elenco degli avvenimenti, numero di inventario. Oggi tutto questo materiale è conservato nel fondo dell'Istituto Luce.Collection of ten photoes of photographies realized in 1936 circa in Etiopia italiana. These photographies are reproductions of the originals and have been realized in 1970's 80's circa. The fascist government created in september 1935 the "Reparto foto-cinematografico per Africa Orientale" with the duty to collect photographic and cinematographic material about Africa Orientale during th period 1935-38. Each photo indicates typewritten indication with index of series, list of happenings, number of inventary. Today all this material is preserved in the archive of Istituto Luce.<BR><BR>

Chef de la commission gouvernementale chargée de définir les frontières italo-abyssiniennes du côté somalien. L'expédition quitta Naples le 2 septembre 1910 et, une fois débarquée à Djibouti (19 septembre), elle continua par chemin de fer jusqu'à Dire Dawa (10 novembre). La mission débuta le 22 décembre et traversa l'Auàsc, en direction de l'Uebi Scebeli qui fut atteinte le 14 janvier 1911, après avoir surmonté la chaîne de montagnes de plus de 3 000 mètres d'altitude qui sépare le bassin de l'Auàsc de celui de l'Uebi Shabeli. Après avoir traversé les montagnes qui séparent ce dernier de celles du Ganale, du 17 au 29 janvier l'expédition s'est arrêtée à Gobà, où elle a rejoint son homologue abyssin pour réaliser ensemble les travaux de levé topographique.
