Un des premiers romans, dans sa première édition recherchée, de la série ˮInspecteur Malaiseˮ écrit par Steeman, auteur belge (auteur également de ˮL'assassin habite au 21ˮ), surnomméˮle Frégoli du roman policierˮ par Jean Cocteau. Suivi de trois nouvelles policières (Enigmes sans solution) et de sept contes fantastiques (Contes étranges et contes humains). Première édition établi dans une agréable reliure en demi-chagrin verte, dos à quatre nerfs et motif doré, en bon état de conservation. Intérieur frais avec quelques très rares et pâles rousseurs, sur les gardes et les tranches uniquement, pages légèrement jaunies. La première de couverture, bien caractéristique, n'a pas été conservée.

The Stedelijk proudly presents an historic survey of the innovative avant-garde group ZERO. With work by herman de vries, Armando, Henk Peeters, Jan Schoonhoven, Jan Henderikse, Piero Manzoni, Lucio Fontana, Yves Klein, Jean Tinguely, Yayoi Kusama and others. In the 1950s and 60s, the ZERO movement experimented with the most innovative materials and media. Facing the aftermath of war and the harsh realities of reconstruction, the artists of this international movement dedicated themselves to building a new future for art. In 1962, the Stedelijk opened its doors for the first museum presentation of the international ZERO network (Nul, 1962). Three years later, the museum staged a more comprehensive exhibition (Nul 1965), an exhibition seen by many as a highpoint in the history of the network. Now, exactly 50 years after this second ZERO exhibition, the Stedelijk proudly presents an historic survey of this innovative avant-garde group. Zero was een kunstenaarsgroep die in 1958 in D sseldorf werd opgericht door Heinz Mack en Otto Piene. Het woord 'zero' betekende in de woorden van Piene: "een zone van stilte en van pure mogelijkheden voor een nieuw begin?. In 1961 voegde G nther Uecker zich bij de groep. De beweging wordt gewoonlijk ge nterpreteerd als een reactie op het abstracte expressionisme door te beweren dat kunst geen kleur, emotie en individuele expressie mag hebben. De Zero-groep onderhield talrijke internationale contacten, onder anderen met de Italiaan Lucio Fontana, de Fransman Yves Klein (die het belang van de pure kleurwaarneming beklemtoonde) en de Zwitser Jean Tinguely (kinetische kunst, roterende objecten). In Nederland werd Zero vertegenwoordigd door de leden van de Nederlandse Nul-beweging met Henk Peeters als promoter. De Zero-groep viel in 1966 uiteen. Dit boek kwam er t.a.v. de tentoonstelling over de ZERO kunstbeweging. Nummer 87 van 250.
