Dublin Talbot Press Ltd 1920 Première édition. Couverture rigide en tissu vert, avec titres et illustrations en noir sur la première page. Titres dorés au dos, aujourd'hui très décolorés. Une petite tache sur le haut de la première planche est la seule marque sur les planches. Biographies et descriptions de peintures. Nombreux exemples d'uvres d'art en noir et blanc. Bel état de propreté, avec quelques tons de vieillesse et un assombrissement modéré sur les bords des pages. Thomas Patrick Bodkin (1887-1961) était un avocat irlandais, un historien de l'art, un collectionneur d'art et un conservateur. Bodkin a été directeur de la National Gallery of Ireland. 236 pages. 210 x 170 mm (8Œ x 6Ÿ inches).
First Edition. Green cloth hardback, with black titles and illustration to front board. Gilt titles to the spine, now very faded. Small spot to the top of the front board is the only mark to the boards. Biographies and descriptions of paintings. Numerous black and white examples of artworks. Nice clean condition, with some age toning and moderate darkening to the page edges. Thomas Patrick Bodkin (18871961) was an Irish lawyer, art historian, art collector and curator. Bodkin was Director of the National Gallery of Ireland. 236 pages. 210 x 170 mm (8Πx 6٠inches). .
