Small water-stain to the lower blank margin of the last plate; otherwise, an excellent, clean copy.An important monograph with fine illustrations of new and seldom-seen species. Several new genera were included too. Written by one of the most influential German zoologists and malacologists, Emil Karl Hermann Johannes Thiele (1860-1935). Polyplacophora (Amphineura) had his special interest. Published in two parts. With an additional, third title for being part of Zoologica. Original-Abhandlungen aus dem Gesamtgebiete der Zoologie.
