1894-1896 Four parts in one. 514, [2] p., 5 plates, one portrait (bound upside-down), paperbound (plain covers).With keys to the species and detailed descriptions. The plates are on thicker paper. Pagination is double, both of the separate issues, and of the series as a whole. Includes an index referring to the latter page numbers. The two additional unnumbered pages contain the captions to the last plates. The portrait is upside down. It is unclear who's portrait it is. A later (1935) wrapper of an unrelated publication has been used, inside out. The portait, however, seems to be older. According to Derksen & Scheiding (Horn-Schenkling II), the combined papers were privately published by the author, and more supplements followed. Uncut. Partly unopened. Small private library stamp (Bibliothek Dr. H. Franz) on the front wrapper, otherwise clean. In all a good copy. Rare. Horn-Schenkling II(1), p. 260.
