1738 xxxiv, [2], 636 p., 44 engraved plates, small 4to, modern half calf with marbled boards, spine with four bands and gilt author/title. Modern marbled endpapers. Blank upper and lower margin of title-page repaired with old paper, upper margin first page and corners of a few plates as well. Upper margin with waterstain (paper of the right corner tender), part of the text with waterstain in lower margin as well. Very well bound copy, but the paper tender at places (with a few repairs). A good working copy of this fourth volume of one of the most important and classic entomological works. Treated are gall-inducing insects and Diptera.
