1819 (2nd ed.?) xxvii, 382, [2], [21] p., 1 folded table, contemporary full calf (spine richly gilt). The first (blank) free end-paper missing. An interleaved copy with numerous annotations in an contemporary hand. The last 21 pages is an index of French names which are a handwritten addition by the previous owner. In this case the previous owner was: M. Delastre, sous-préfet a Loudun (printed label with his name on the rear of the front cover and small stamp with the initial D on the title-page). We only found copies of the 1st edition from 1811, this copy was printed in 1819 but it is not clear if it is a new edition or a new impression; anyway it is much rarer as the 1811 edition. A nicely bound copy of this scarce title.
