‎Leipzig Georg Wigands Verlag 1851 Première édition. Portfolio relié avec ses attaches d'origine. Les plats rigides sont recouverts d'étiquettes en papier. Sur le plat avant figure le contenu du portfolio, sur le plat arrière un petit dispositif. L'étiquette du titre indique que l'ouvrage comprend sept récits distincts. À l'intérieur, le portfolio contient un titre et 24 autres feuilles, certaines imprimées recto verso, mais la plupart uniquement au recto. La page de titre (à l'intérieur) est une plaque gravée, avec une jolie vignette. Elle présente quelques rousseurs. En plus des feuilles gravées, il y a sept pages gravées imprimées sur un fond crème/jaune. Le portfolio semble contenir plus que ce que suggère la page de titre. La plupart des pages sont propres et bien rangées à l'intérieur, avec seulement quelques rousseurs et marques. À l'intérieur de la couverture avant se trouve l'ex-libris de Friedrich Preller le Jeune (1838-1901). Artiste et fils de Friederich Preller (sans surprise), un artiste allemand de renom. 38 cm x 28 cm.‎

‎First edition. Hardback portfolio with the original ties to them. The stiff front boards have paper labels pasted to them. To the front board is the contents of the portfolio, to the rear a small device. The title label shows that there are seven separate tales to the work. Inside, the portfolio holds a title and 24 further sheets, some printed to both sides, but most to the recto only. The (inside) title pate is an engraved plate, with attractive vignette. This has a little foxing to it. In addition to the engraved sheets, are seven engraved pages which are printed with a cream / yellow background. There seems to be more in the portfolio than the title page suggests. Most of the pages are clean and tidy inside, with a little foxing and marking only. To the inside of the front board is the bookplate of Friedrich Preller the Younger (1838-1901). An artist, and son of Friederich Preller (unsurprisingly) a renowned German artist. 38cm x 28cm. ,‎

‎Un volume petit in-folio (27 x 36,5 cm), reliure éditeur de couleur tabac, avec sur le 1er plat des illustrations en noir (des dessins de Ludwig RICHTER) et le titre en lettres dorées gothiques. marron clair. L’ouvrage, sans pagination, compte 24 feuillets, soit 48 pages. Parmi elles on compte de nombreux hors-texte du grand Illustrateur allemand. EXCELLENT ETAT.‎
