1977 Couverture souple Paris, Publications PSI, 1977. Un volume in folio (50 x 32,5 cm), en feuilles sous un portfolio de l'éditeur titré et entoilé, portfolio à rabats, quelques marques fines et marginales au portfolio. Feuillet de titre, 12 eaux-fortes originales de l'artiste sous serpente, toutes justifiées et signées par l'artiste à la mine de plomb, feuillet de justification du tirage. Tirage à 78 exemplaires, le nôtre un des 60 exemplaires numérotés sur grand vélin d'Arches. Les gravures ont été imprimées sur les presses à bras des publications Psi, la typographie en Didot est de Fequet-Baudier, l'emboîtage a été réalisé par Bernard Duval. Achevé d'imprimer le 15 juin 1977. Isidore Isou est le fondateur (avec Gabriel Pomerand) du lettrisme, mouvement qui repose sur l'idée de dépasser les formes traditionnelles de l'art en utilisant les lettres, les signes et les sons comme matériaux de base, plutôt que les mots ou images conventionnelles. "Jonas ou le début d'un roman" s'inscrit dans la série des "romans hypergraphiques" d'Isou, qui repoussent les limites du roman traditionnel en associant gravure, dessin, photographie et texte. Ce titre a été exposé dans le cadre de rétrospectives consacrées à Isou, notamment à l'Institut culturel roumain de Stockholm en 2012. Bel état des planches, bel exemplaire.

Un volume in-8 (21 x 14 cm), couverture illustrée de l'éditeur imprimée en deux couleurs, petite déchirure en pied sur 1 cm au premier plat, marges jaunies. 470 pages, illustrées de 7 planches en noir, petite marque au stylo dans la marge page 25 (voir photo). Première édition de la traduction française, réalisée par Fernand Delmas. Mention de 8ème mille au premier plat. Biographie de l'auteur de la Comédie humaine par l'écrivain humaniste Stefan Zweig. L’ouvrage a été achevé en 1942, peu avant la mort de Zweig au Brésil, et publié à titre posthume. Bon état intérieur, bon exemplaire.

Summary Roman Imperial denarii from the first-third cen turies AD are, almost without exception, the most common ancient coinage to be found in Central, Northern, and Eastern Europe beyond the Roman limes. Perhaps surprisingly, however, a signifi cant percentage of these coins are in fact coun terfeit, comprised largely of denarii subaerati (plated denarii, fourr es) and denarii flati (base-metal cast copies). Moreover, these fake coins were not only manufactured by Romans them selves, but also by barbarian peoples in Eastern Europe, far from the Roman limes, in what should be considered a mass-scale phenomena. This volume draws together archaeologi cal, numismatic, and historical research in order to offer a new assessment of the production and use of counterfeit Roman Imperial denarii both within the European provinces of the Roman Empire and in European Barbaricum. Drawing on the results of the research project Barbarian Fakers. Manufacturing and Use of Counterfeit Roman Imperial Denarii in East-Central Europe in Antiquity, from the University of Warsaw, the papers gathered here explore the transfer of ideas, technology, and finished products that led to the transfer of counterfeit coinage across the Empire, and shed light on how, why, and when such coins were created and used.
