Papier marbré et gauffré, étiquettes sur le dos lisse. Tranches marbrées. Reliure de l'époque. Très bel exemplaires, à l'état neuf. Edition belge à contrefaçon, parue la même année que l'édition originale ( 1835 ). Roman dans le style du Romantisme noir qui décrit la vie et l'amour de Henry Percy, 6e Duc de Northumberland ( 1502 - 1537 ) fiancé d'Anne Boleyn, cet Anne Boleyn qui finara comme épouse d'Henry VIII sur l'échafaud à Londres. Très bel exemplaire. Extremely fine copy of this gothic novel, in French, about the life of the 6th Duke of Northhumberland Henry Percy and his relation with Anne Boleyn. This edition appeared in the same year as the first edition ( 1835 ). It was published in Brussels. In those days many of the main French literary works were pirated in Brussels : so called ''Contrefaçon'' editions. Sometimes they were on the market even before the first French edition. With the rubberstamp of the initials of an unidentified Prince or Duke on the half-title."‎
