Frottements aux coiffes, quelques rousseurs. État très correct tout de même. ÉDITION ORIGINALE, illustrée d'un frontispice en couleurs et de nombreuses illustrations in-texte, dont 34 à pleine page. William Henry Giles Kingston (1814-1880), souvent crédité sous le nom de W. H. G. Kingston, était un écrivain anglais auteur de romans d'aventures pour garçons. Adventures in Africa est un récit autobiographique sur le commerce en Afrique écrit en 1883 par un "commerçant africain" anonyme, et édité par Kingston. Il ne doit pas être confondu avec The African Trader, un roman fictif de l'auteur publié en 1973. Le livre retrace un voyage commercial entre le Bechuanaland (aujourd'hui Botswana) et la colonie du Cap (aujourd'hui Namibie). Bon exemplaire.
