The contents of this book formed the subject-matter of a Report to the International Conference on Goitre held, under the auspices of the Swiss Goitre Commission, at Berne, in August, 1927.Sir Robert McCarrison published several important works of which two are listed by Garrison-Morton (e.g. n° 3848: The pathogenesis of experimentally produced goitre. 1914). He was an associate fellow of the Ciollege of physicians in Philadelphia, lauréat de l'Académie de médecine in Paris, lieut.-colonel Indian Medical Service, Pasteur Institute, Coonor, S. India.
