In 16. Dim. 17x10,5 cm. Pp. 509. Bella edizione del 1762 di questa interessante raccolta di lettere curiosi e galante di Nicolo Castelli (Lucca 1601-?). All'interno numerose lettere: testo in italiano con a fronte traduzione in tedesco. Numerosi e vari i temi trattati: moda, costume, etichetta (es. invio di scritti, invio di scarpe su misura alla veneziana, lettera di condoglianze, invio dell'acqua di mandorle amare distillata, malattia, catastrofi naturali, soldi all'usuraio, comportamento scorretto da parte dei servitori ecc...). Due firme alla prima carta bianca: una datata 1773, l'altra probabilmente 1790. In buone condizioni. Raro. Copertina in cartonato coevo con titolo manoscritto al dorso in discrete condizioni generali con usure e parti mancanti ai margini e dorso. Legatura in buone condizioni. All'interno le pagine si presentano in buone condizioni con fioriture e mende. Segni di tarlo marginalie nel testo da pag. 207 a 246 con piccola perdita di lettere. Margine inferiore mancante a pag. 509. Beautiful edition of 1762 of this collection of curious and love letters by Nicolo Castelli (Lucca 1601-?). Insdie there are different letters: italian text with german translation. Different issues are treated: fashion, costume, good manners (es. sending of writings, send of shoes in Venice manner, desease, natural accidents, bad behaviour by servants ecc...). Two signatures in the first white page: one dated 1773, the other probably 1790. In good conditions. Scarce copy. Carton coeval cover with manuscripted title in the spine in fair general conditions with wearings and missing parts in the edges and spine. Binding in good conditions. Inside pages are in good conditions with foxings and usage signs. Wormings in the edges and in the text from pag. 207 until 246 with little loss of letters. Lower edge is missing in pag. 509.
