‎First english edition. Christian Klucker swiss Alpine guide fron the Engadin. Translation from the 3rd. German edition, by Erwin and Pleasaunce von Gaisberg, edited with additional chapters by H. E. G. Tyndale. (Rentch Zürich 1930).A marvellous work and perhabs one of the best of its kind. Klucker was one of the greatest guides making 44 first ascents of peaks and 88 new climbs in all parts of the Alps. He was with Paul Gussfeldt in 1893 when was made the first traverse of the Peuterey Ridge of Mont Blanc, taking 88 hours, a climb herein described. Neate 425/K33; Perret 2446.
