Leo Hilber Swiss photographer from the town of Fribourg, went to Japan to take photographs for his publisher ‘Office du Livre in Fribourg’ were he met Hamaya. Japanese text with some English. Slipcase with original publicity paperstrip in Japanese (obi-band), printed paper over boards in clear acetate (plastic) dust jacket. Light soiling and creasing to the slipcase. Very light edgwear to the corners of the slipcase. Light waving to the top edge of the endpapers which is usual for this book. A near fine copy. A great collection of photographs of the varied landscapes and lifestyles of America in 1967 taken be a master Japanese photographer. Image disp.
