Elle estillustrée de deux portraits de Milton en frontispice et de six planches hors-texte pour chaque volume. Reliures de l'époque en plein veau, dos à cinq nerfs ornés de caissons et fleurons dorés ainsi que de pièces de titre et de tomaison de maroquin rouge et noir. Habiles restaurations aux coiffes, mors et coins.
