‎Intéressante lettre autographe signée, adressée à par Alexandre Chatrian (1826-1890), le célèbre collaborateur d'Emile Erckmann avec lequel il publia de nombreux chefs-d'oeuvre sous le nom de plume "Erckmann-Chatrian" qu'il utilise pour signer sa missive, à Emile Aucante, secrétaire et homme d'affaire de George Sand. Chatrian y fait référence à "L'illustre Docteur Mathéus", recueil de 6 nouvelles paru en 1859.‎
