In 4. Dim. 29,5x23 cm. Pp. 36+(2). Interessante pubblicazione del 1837 del Principe Pietro Odescalchi per onorare i Santi e la Chiesa dei Santi Vito Modesto e Crescenzia a Roma. La Chiesa, per la prima menzionata nel VIII secolo, fu oggetto di numerosi restauri nel XVIII e XIX secolo. Odescalchi descrive i lavori eseguiti, il tempio e i monumenti (riportando anche varie iscrizioni), la storia dei Santi ai quali è dedicata. Alla fine planche ripiegata con incisione su rame dei tre Santi. Non comune. Copertina assente. Legatura quasi assente. All'interno le pagine si presentano in buone condizioni con rare fioriture. Interesting pamphlet of 1837 by the Prince Pietro Odescalchi to honour the Church and Saint Vito Modesto and Crescenzia in Rome. The Chruch, mentioned for the first time in VIII century, was restored different times during XVIII and XIX century. Odescalchi describes the works made, the temple and monuments (with different inscriptions), the history of Saints to which is dedicated. At the end folded planche with copper engraving of the three Saints. Not common work. Cover is missing. Binding is almost missing. Inside pages are in good conditions with occasional foxings.
