Di tratta dell'"Imitazione della Santissima Vergine" opera scritta su modello dell'"Imitazione di Gesù Cristo". Nella prima parte dell'opera l'autore descrive la vita e virtù della Madonna, dall'Immacolata Concezione sino alla nascita del suo divino figlio a Betlemme. Nella seconda parte vita e virtù della Madonna dalla nascita di Gesù Cristo fino al calvario. Nella terza parte fino all'assunzione, nella quarta e ultima si parla del sentimento di rispetto, stima, zelo, amore tenerezza per la Santa Vergine. Alla prima carta bianca manoscritto in francese datato 1829. Bella legatura in piena pelle con ricche decorazioni al dorso. In buone condizioni. Copertina in piena pelle con titolo e decorazioni in oro al dorso in buone condizioni generali con lievi usure ai margini e dorso. Legatura in buone condizioni ma rottura alla prima pagina di sguardia. All'interno le pagine si presentano in ottime condizioni con rare fioriture. Lieve gora d'umidità al margine destro delle prime XXVI pagine. Prima pagina di sguardia in parte staccata. It is about the"imitation of the very holy Virgin" written on the model of the "Imitation of Jesus Christ". In the first part the aiuthor describes life and virtues of the Madonna, from the Immaculate Conception until the bearing of her divine son in Bethlem. In the second part life and virtues of the Madonna from the bearing of Jesus Christ until the Calvary. In the third part until the Assumption, in the fourth and last part of the feeling of respect, estimation, love for the holy Virgin. In the first white page manuscript in french language dated 1829. Beautiufl full leather cover with golden title and decorations in the spine. In good conditions. Full leather cover with golden title and decorations in the spine in good general conditions slightly worn in the edges and spine. Binding in good conditions with a crack in the first endpaper. Inside pages are in very good conditions with occasional foxings. Slight humidity stain in the right edge fo the first XXVI pages. First endpaper is partially detached.‎
