La prima edizione del romanzo è del 1901, questa edizione è senza data ma dei primi anni del 1900. Firma in copertina. In ottime condizioni. Brossura editoriale in mediocri condizioni generali con usure e parti mancanti ai margini e dorso. Legatura in discrete condizioni con rotture. All'interno le pagine si presentano in ottime condizioni con rare fioriture. Complete novel by the french historian, novelist and journalist Renè Bazin (1853-1932). The first edition of the novel is of 1901, this edition is not dated but of the first years of 1900. Signature in the cover. In very good conditions. Editorial cover in poor general conditions slightly worn with missing parts in the edges and spine. Binding in fair conditions with cracks. Inside pages are in very good conditions with occasional foxings.

Tirage limité à 900 exemplaires numérotés. Celui-ci sur Rives. Dédié à Jean Cocteau, ce volume est une peinture romancée de la jeunesse parisienne de Galtier-Boissière. Les illustrations de Jean Oberlé, d'un charme un peu ""canaille"" se marient parfaitement avec le texte. Jean Oberlé, né à Brest en 1900 illustra une vingtaine d'ouvrages contemporains et travailla pour différents journaux ou magazines parisiens. Pendant la Seconde Guerre Mondiale, il fut l'un des animateurs de l'équipe de la France Libre à Radio-Londres. Dessinateur plein de fantaisie et d'à-propos, il fut une des figures de l'après-guerre. (Talvart et Place t.6 p.275). Bel exemplaire."
