In 16. Dim. 18,5x12 cm. Pp. 475, 289. Raccolta di due opere legate insieme di Edmondo de Amicis (1846-1908). La prima è l'edizione del 1897 della nota opera di de Amicis scritta nel 1868 a 22 anni. Nel 1865 De Amicis era cadetto alla Scuola militare di Modena. Spostatosi a Firenze iniziò a scrivere i bozzetti che pubblicò nella "Nuova Antologia" e "Italia militare". L'autore cerca di dare una buona impressione dell'esercito italiano. La seconda è l'edizione del 1896 di "Pagine Sparse". In buone condizioni. Copertina in mezza tela con titolo in oro e manoscritto al dorso in discrete condizioni generali con lievi usure ai margini e dorso scolorito. Legatura in discrete condizioni con rotture. All'interno le pagine si presentano in buone condizioni con fioriture. Mende. Collection of two works bound together of Edmondo de Amicis (1846-1908). The first one is the edition of 1897 of the famous work by de Amicis written in 1868 when the author was 22 years old. In 1865 De Amicis was cadet in the Scuola militare of Modena. He then moved in fLorence where he publiched the work in "Nuova Antologia" and "Italia militare". The author tries to give a good impression of the italian army. The seond one is the edition of 1896 of "Pagine Sparse". In good conditions. Half cloth cover with golden and manuscripted title in the spine in fair general conditions slightly worn in the edges and discoloured spine. Binding in fair conditions with cracks. Inside pages are in good conditions with foxings. Usage signs.
