Robert Amadeus Heath, 2e baron (1818 -1892) était le fils aîné de John Benjamin Heath, 1er baron Heath du royaume d'Italie, et succéda au titre à la mort de son père en 1879. Il fit ses études à la Harrow School. Comme son père, il était un marchand italien à Londres et fut vice-consul général pour la Sardaigne de 1844 à 1861, pour l'Italie de 1861 à 1879 et consul général de 1879 à 1882. Il était membre du Roxburghe Club. Une partie de la bibliothèque familiale a été vendue dans le cadre de la bibliothèque d'Amédée John Heath, baron Heath par Sotheby, Wilkinson & Hodge le 7 novembre 1892. Bon état d’occasion
