Splendida veduta del 1766 della Cascata di Tivoli dell'incisore e architetto Giovanni Battista Piranesi (1720-1778). Veneto di origine, si trasferì a Roma dove, affascinato dalle bellezze della città eterna, iniziò la produzione delle "Vedute di Roma". Titolo firma e data in basso a destra nell'inciso. Purtroppo l'incisione è stata eccesivamente rifilata al margine destro e sinistro che risulta priva di margini. Bellissima prova ricca di toni impressa su carta pesante. Piegatura verticale. Title signature and date in the stone in the lower right corner. Unfortunately the engraving has been excessively cut in the right and left edge that is without edges. Very beautiful proof rich of tones published on wide paper. Vertical folding.
