Edizione del 1643 di questo romanzo dello scrittore, diplomatico e storico Gian Francesco Biondi (Lesina 1572- Aubonne1644) nativo di Lesina in Dalmazia. Il romanzo "Il Coralbo" pubblicato per la prima volta nel 1632, fa parte di una trilogia incompiuta (L'Eromena; La Donzella desterrada) e introdusse in Italia il genere di romanzo "eroico-galante". Segue la seconda parte con la "Continuazione al Coralbo" di Carlo Boer. Questa terza parte è in parte ambientata in Sardegna. Antiche note manoscritte alle carte bianche e al frontespizio In discrete condizioni. Copertina in piena pergamena coeva con titolo manoscritto al dorso in mediocri condizioni generali con usure e mancanze ai margini e dorso. Legatura in discrete condizioni con rotture. Corpo del libro quasi del tutto staccato dalla copertina. All'interno le pagine si presentano in buone condizioni con fioriture. Data in parte cancellata al frontespizio ma che risulta comunque deducibile al colophon. Segni di tarlo al margine superiore da pag. 177 a 190. Occhietto incollato alla prima carta bianca. The novel "Il Coralbo" published for the first time in 1632, belonged to un unfinished rilogy (L'Eromena; La Donzella desterrada) and introduced in Italy the "heroic-chevalry kind. Then the second part with "Continuazione al Coralbo" by Carlo Boer. This third part is placed in Sardinia. Antique handwritten notes in the blank pages and in the title page. In fair conditions. Full parchment coeval cover with handwritten title in the spine in poor general conditions lightly worn in the extremities. Binding in fair conditions with cracks. The body of the book almost totally detached. Pages in good conditions with foxing. Date partially canceled in the title page but that is clear in the colophon.
