Opera dedicata alle gentildonne di Casale di Monferrato da parte dello stampatore Gabriel Giolito, una delle primissime dediche, che in seguito divennero frequenti caratterizzando lo stile dell'editore veneziano (Cfr. "The Publisher Gabriel Giolito de Ferrari, Female Readers, and the Debate about Women in Sixteenth-Century Italy" Androniki Dialeti.). Finissimi capilettera decorati. Tagli marmorizzati. Numerazione singola. In buone condizioni. Copertina in piena pelle settecentesca con tiolo e decorazioni in oro al dorso in buone condizioni generali con lievi usure ai margini e dorso. The work in prose isb a long monologue confession fo a neapolitan girl that describes his passion for Panfilo, a florentine merchant. Work dedicated to the gentlewomen of Casale di Monferrato by the publisher Gabriel Giolito, one of the first dedications, that after this early attempts became a dinstictive carachteristic of the editor (Cfr. "The Publisher Gabriel Giolito de Ferrari, Female Readers, and the Debate about Women in Sixteenth-Century Italy" Androniki Dialeti.). Very fine decorated capital letters. Marbled fore-edges. Single numbering. In good conditions. Full parchment of 19th century with gilted title and decorations in the spine in good general conditions lightly worn in the extremities.
