‎Edizione senza data ma del 1780 circa di questo atlante del cartografo Rigobert Bonne (1727-1794) considerato uno dei migliori della fine del XVIII secolo. Nel 1773 Bonne succedette a Nicolas Bellin nella guida della cartografia Reale di Francia. Le sue mappe sono molto dettagliate e il suo stile snello e semplice molto si discosta dalle elaborate decorazioni e cartigli tipici del XVIII secolo. L'atlante, originariamente allegato all'opera in 10 volumi "Histoire philosohpique et politique des Etablissements et du commerce des Europeens dans les Deux Indes"di Guillaume Thomas Raynal contiene 49 tavole ed è completo. Variante B, alcune incisioni riportano come nome dell'incisore Claude Marie Francois Dien (gravèe par Dien). Edition not dated but of 1780 circa of this atlas by the cartograopher Rigobert Bonne (1727-1794) considered as one of the best of late 18th century. In 1773 Bonne succeeded Jacques Nicolas Bellin as Royal Cartographer to France in the office of the Hydrographer at the Depôt de la Marine. Working in his official capacity, Bonne compiled some of the most detailed and accurate maps of the period. Bonne's work represents an important step in the evolution of the cartographic ideology away from the decorative work of the 17th and early 18th century towards a more detail oriented and practical aesthetic. With regard to the rendering of terrain Bonne maps bear many stylistic similarities to those of his predecessor, Bellin.
