I/ XXIII pp., 231 pp., contient 79 illustrations. II/ XXXIV pp., 277 pp., contient 80 illustrations. Ces illustrations sont des photographies de Harry Burton du Metropolitan Museum of Art de New York. Reliure marron en toile, plat de devant orné d'un scarabé doré sur un rectangle avec fond noir, titre et auteurs en lettres dorées, dos lisse, titre, auteurs, tomaison et éditeur en lettres dorées, gardes décorées. Coiffes légérement frottés sans manque, quelques rousseurs à l'intérieur, sinon ensemble en bon état. Photographies sur demande.
Le premier volume a été rédigé par Carter (1874-1939) et Mace (1874-1928). Quant au deuxième, seul Carter s'y est appliqué. Notre collection contient les deux premiers volumes.
