Prima e unica edizione del 1780 di questa opera utopica del frate domenicano Pier Vincenzo Barsanti (sec. 18 2 meta) nativo di Livorno. Il nome dell'autore si evince da pag. IV. L'opera è un interessante dissertazione filosofica sull'utopica creazione di un nuovo mondo i cui abitanti sono uniti da un senso di armonia e perfino da una lingua univrsale All'interno: Osservazioni sulle acque del diluvio universale, la Divina Rivelazione, Lo scrittore Cadonici (che scrisse di abitanti extraterrestri N.D.V.), Plagi di Omero e Esiodo, Rinnovazione del mondo: costituzione leggi e armonia dei membri del nuovo mondo, agricoltura arti e commercio, futura del nuovo mondo rinnovato, Arte del navigare, Oracoli divini che cofnermano la creazione futura di un nuovo modno, Nuovi oggetti che potranno sorprendentemente scorrere in immensi spazi e trovarsi da un pianeta ad un altro toccando la molteplicità dei mondi, creazione di una lingua universale. Lo scritto molte polemiche sopratutto presso i giansenisti e negli ambienti ecclesiastici romani dove l'autore fu addirittura accusato di molinismo. The work is a phylosophical dissertation about the possibility of creation of a New utopic World with armony between inhabitants, objects flowing from one planet to others, a universal language. The work provoqud many discussions above all among the jansenists and in rome where the author was accused of molinism.
