Prima edizione in volgare del 1544 a cura di Fausto da Longiano di questa opera sull'Asia scritto dal Cardinale italiano Enea Silvio Piccolomini (1405-1464). La prima edizione latina venne pubblicata nel 1506. Importante ed esaustiva cosmografia che comprende la descrizione dell'Asia, Europa, Guerra di Cipro e Africa (con frontespizio proprio), Siria, Giudea, Samaria, Galilea, Phenicia, Mesopotamia, Caldea, Alessandria, Tempio di Gerusalemme. Alla fine interessante descrizione del Paradiso Terrestre ad opera del Longiano. Antica firma alla prima carta bianca e nota manoscritta datata 1924. Alla fine antica nota manoscritta in parte coperta da carta. Presente perfino l'ultima carta bianca spesso mancante. In buone condizioni e completo. Copertina in piena pergamena coeva con titolo manoscritto al dorso e piatto anteriore in buone condizioni generali con lievi usure ai margini e dorso. Mancanze. Legatura in buone condizioni. Pagine in buone condizioni con fioriture. In 16. Dim. 16x11,5x4 cm. Pp. 380+(20). At the end interesting description of Terrestrial Paradise by Longiano. Antique signature in the first blank page and handwritten dated 1924. At the end antique hanwritten note partially covered by paper. There is even the blank page often lacking. In good conditions and complete. Full parchment coeval cover with handwritten title in the spine and front plate in good general conditions lightly worn in the extremities. Missing parts. Binding in good conditions.
