Rarissima opera liturgica del 1693, un diurno dell'Ordine dei fratelli della Beata Vergine del Monte Carmelo. Le origini del rito carmelitano risalgono alla liturgia gallicano-romana portato in Terra Santa dai crociati. Venne rinnovato nel 1312 dal carmelitano tedesco Siberto di Beka fino al 1956 quando la Santa Sede impose all'ordine di scegliere definitivamente tra rito romano e carmelitano. Dal 1972 l'ordine utilizza il Rito Romano. Frontespizio figurato e sette finissime incisioni a piena pagina impreziosiscono il testo tra cui l'annunciazione, la natività, l'arrivo dei Re Magi, la Resurrezione, I Santi, La Beata Vergine del Monte Carmelo. Alla fine del volume tredici fogli bianchi. Antica nota manoscritta alla prima carta bianca. Sguardie marmorizzate. In ottime condizioni. Copertina in marocchino rosso coeva con titolo e ricche decorazioni in oro al dorso e piatti n ottime condizioni generali con lievi usure marginali. Legatura in buone condizioni. All'interno le pagine si presentano in buone condizioni con rare fioriture. In 32. Dim. 10x6x3,5 cm. Pp. (8)+416. The origins of carmelitan rhyte belongs to gallican roman liturgy and the rhyte was renewed in 1312 byt he german carmilitan Siberto di Beka until 1956 when the Santa Sede imposed to the Order to choose definetevely between carmilitan and roman rhyte. From 1972 the order uses roman rhyte. Figurated title page and seven full page very fine engravings enrich the text. Between them the annunciarion, naticity, arrival of Re Magi, resurrections, Saints, The Blessed Virgin of Mount Carmelo. At the end of the volume there are 13 blank pages. Antique handwritten note in the first endpage. Marbled counterplates. In very good conditions. Red morocco coeval cover with gilted title in the spine and rich gilted decorations in very good general conditions lightly worn and lackings in the extremities. Binding in good conditions.
