Copertina cartonata con titolo e ricche decorazioni in oro ai piatti. All'interno: esercizio della Santa Messa, Vespro domenicale ecc... Tagli dorati. In discrete condizioni. Copertina cartonata coeva con decorazioni in oro ai piatti in buone condizioni con lievi usure marginali. Legatura in buone condizioni ma corpo del libro staccato dalla legatura. Pagine in buone condizioni con rare fioriture. In 32. Dim. 26x21 mm. Pp. 80.Precious miniature book (mm 45x28), a little missal for youth. Not dated but of 1860 circa. inside there are five engravings of bible scenes, one of them is in the frontspice. Full leather coeval coverwith gilted title in the front plate. Inside: Exercise of Holy Mass, Vespro domenicale ecc... Gilted external edges. In fair conditions. Carton coeval cover with gilted decorations in the plates in good conditions lightly worn in the extremities. Binding in good conditions but the body of the book detached from the cover. Pages in good conditions with occasional foxing. In 32. Dim. 26x21 mm. Pp. 80.

(avant 1811, date à laquelle il n’est pas maintenu comme imprimeur) ; minuscule 30 x 20,5 mm, maroquin grenat à grain long, roulette décorative d’encadrement des plats, gros pointillé doré au dos, tranches dorées, étui en forme de livre relié : 36 x 25 mm, maroquin grenat à grain long, dos à faux nerfs et fleurons dorés, double encadrement des plats, pointillé fin et pointillé gras, tranches dorées (reliure de l’époque) ; 80 pp. y compris le titre.
Probable édition originale ; l’imprimeur-libraire Guillaume Denis Caillot, qui avait exercé de 1789 à 1824, a souvent changé d’adresse : on le retrouve rue Poupée N°5 ; rue Saint-André-des-Arts N°113 puis N°57, rue du Cimetière-Saint-André-des-Arts N°6 ; enfin rue Pavée-Saint-André-des-Arts N°19. Jean Dominique Mellot et Elisabeth Quéral (N°940) lui ont même trouvé des variantes de prénom : Guillaume-Denis-Romain-Emmanuel ; il ne fut pas maintenu comme imprimeur en 1811 mais breveté libraire ensuite, l’impression de ce minuscule remonte donc et très probablement, en raison de la typographie, à la fin du XVIIIe s. Ex-dono manuscrit sur le premier contreplat : “Donné à Melle Adèle par Mr Gitly 1er janvier 1819”. Bel exemplaire. A échappé à Grand-Carteret. Après de multiples recherches, nous n’avons pas réussi à identifier un autre exemplaire de cet ouvrage. L’exemplaire et l’étui sont en parfait état.

(Fin XIXe) Minuscule in-64 ( 33 X 23 mm ) de 80 pages, demi-maroquin rouge cardinal, dos lisse janséniste, les plats sont recouverts de plaques d'ivoire, le premier titré et décoré à l'encre, gardes de moire rose, tranches dorées. 4 jolies gravures à pleine page. Bel exemplaire, remarquable travail de minutie et de précision. Très rare.
