Edizione del 1770 di questa raccolta di rime del poeta italiano Cesare Caporali (Panicale 1531-Castiglione del Lago 1601). Figlio illegittimo del canonico del Duomo di Panicale, alla morte del padre naturale venne mandato a Roma per servire alla Corte del Cardinale Fulvio Giulio della Corgna nipote di Papa Giulio III e in seguito dal Cardinale Ferdinando de Medici. Durante questo periodo ebbe modo di conoscere Miguel de Cervanres che gli ispirò l'opera "Viaggio di Parnaso", Annibal Caro e Torquato Tasso. Edizione con alcune rime inedite Ritratto dell'autore in antiporta. Antica firma al frontespizio e note. In buone condizioni e completo. Illegitimate son of the Churchman of Duomo di Panicale when his father died he was sent in the Court of cardinal Fulvio Giulio della Corgna nephew of the Pope Giulio III and of the Cardinal Ferdinando de Medici.
