Seconda edizione del 1805 della vita dell'orafo, scultore, scrittore ed artista italiano Benvenuto Cellini (1500-1571). Opera utile ed interessante per capire la società del XVI secolo. "Salvo un'infelice contraffazione (Firenze, Bartolini, 1792) si tratta della seconda edizione di questa celebre opera che vide la luce per la prima volta nel 1728. Rara." (Cfr. Gamba 337). L'opera è composta da due volumi ed è completa. Tagli marmorizzati. In buone condizioni. Copertina in mezza pelle coeva con titolo e decorazioni in oro al dorso in buone condizioni generali con usure ai margini, dorso e piatti. Legatura in discrete condizioni con lievi rotture. All'interno le pagine si presentano in buone condizioni con rare fioriture. Piccoli segni di tarlo all'ultima pagina. In 8. cm 22,5x16. Pp. A useful and interesting work to understand the society of the XVI century. The work was published for the first time in 1728. The work is made up of two volumes and it is complete. Marbled external edges of pages. In good conditions. Half leather coeval cover with gilted title and decorations in the spine in good conditions lightly worn in the extremities.Binding in fair conditions with light cracks. Inside pages are in good conditions with foxing. Little worming in the last page.In 8. cm 22,5x16. Pp. (12)+325+(1), (2)+321-632.<BR><BR>
