Finissima edizione illustrata del 1756 di questo Officio della Beata Vergine Maria dell'Abate Alessandro Mazzinelli.<BR><BR>All'interno: Tavola temporale delle feste mobili, Orazione da recitarsi avanti il Divino Uffizio, Officio della Beata Vergine Maria.<BR><BR>Alla fine con frontespizio proprio: Officio dei morti dello Spirito Santo e della Santa Croce. All'interno Officio dello Spirito Santo, Inno per impetrar la grazia dello Spirito Santo, Esercizio per la mattina, Orazione per chiedere a Dio il perdono dei peccati, Orazioni varie, Orazioni di San Francesco di Sales per le donne partorienti, Litanie della B. V. Maria, Modo di dare il Sacramento del Battesimo alle creature di nascita poste in pericolo di vita.<BR><BR>Il testo è impreziosito da 13 finissime incisioni fuori testo di diversi incisori come Arnold van Westerhout (1651-1725), Geronimo Frezza, Carlo Allet su disegno del pittore romano Giuseppe Passeri (1654-1714). Le incisioni mostrano diverse scene bibliche come Natività, matrimonio, parto ecc..<BR><BR>Arnold Van Westerhout nato ad Anversa, apprendista nella bottega di Alexandre Voguier venne ammesso alla Gilda di San Luca dei pittori di Anversa. Dopo varie collaborazioni a partire dal 1680 lavora presso lo studio di Cornelis Bloemaert e dopo essere stato alcuni anni al servizio del Granduca di Toscana si trasferisce a Roma.<BR><BR>In buone condizioni e completo.<BR><BR>Copertina in piena pelle coeva con decorazioni in oro al dorso e piatti in mediocri condizioni generali con usure e mancanze. Legatura in buone condizioni. All'interno le pagine si presentano in buone condizioni con fioriture. Lievi gore d'umidità all'angolo inferiore destro. In 8. Dim. 21x15 cm. Pp.
