Celebri le esibizioni pubbliche dell'autore a Genova e Milano dove ebbe molto successo. Talmente tanto che la sua fama si allargò a tutta la penisola e venne assunto da Napoleone I prima come membro del consiglio legislativo della repubblica Cisalpina e successivamente come improvvisatore di corte. L'opera è formata da cinque tomi legati insieme ed è completa. In ottime condizioni.
