Dedica autografa del Lumbroso al Conte Pier Carlo Borgogelli: "Al Conte Borgogelli con viva simpatia. Il suo devoto Lumbroso 1936 XIV". Sovrintendente al Museo Pinacoteca di Fano Archivio storico e Biblioteca Federiciana diede un notevole contributo culturale alla sua città durante la seconda guerra mondiale mettendo in salvo numerose opere d'arte.
