Laymann fu prolifico scrittore di materie filosofiche, morali e giuridiche. La sua teologia morale conobbe moltissime edizioni. L'opera è formata da due tomi legati insieme in un volume ed è completa. Alla fine del volume "Quaestiones canonicae de Praelatorum Ecclesiasticorum electione" e "De apostasia religione Quaestio Fr. Caroli Tirelli" entrambi con il proprio frontespizio. Tra gli argomenti trattati: adulterio, crimini, malefici, dispense ecclesiasticeh, divorzio, duello, esorcismi, scomuniche, feudi, fideiussori, omicidi, eredità, impedimenti, pellegrini, sacrilegio, ecc... Bella incisione dell'albero genealogico. Antica nota di possesso datata 1730 al frontespizio. In buone condizioni e completo. Copertina in piena pergamena coeva con titolo manoscritto al dorso in buone condizioni generali con usure e parti mancanti ai margini e dorso. Legatura in buone condizioni. All'interno le pagine si presentano in buone condizioni con fioriture. Lieve gore marginali. In 4. cm 33x23. Pp. (8)+412+387+(1)+(88)+40+16. His Moral theology was published different times. the work oiis made up of two tomes bound together in a unique volume and it is complete. At the end of the volume "Quaestiones canonicae de Praelatorum Ecclesiasticorum electione" and "De apostasia religione Quaestio Fr. Caroli Tirelli" both with its own title page.
