Edition of 1850 of the work "I misteri del popolo" by the french writer Eugene Sue (1804-1857) famous for his social novels in instalments as I misteri di Parigi, considered the first thriller novel, and L'ebreo errante.<BR>The work was made up of three tomes unfortunately we only have the second tome.<BR>Handwritten notes. Soft coeval cover in poor conditions with wearings in the spine. Missing part in the front plate. Binding in poor conditions with some page detached. Inside pages are in good conditions with foxings.
